Back To The Future

Today is the day Marty Mcfly goes in to the future in the film Back to the Future II.  BTTF is one of my all time favorite film series.  As a kid I always dreamed of owning my own hoverboard, heck! I still do! : P.  To commemorate this day I thought I would make a cake. Mmm.  Proceeds from the cake will be donated to the Parkinsons Foundation.  So without further adieu here is a chibi styled Marty McFly on a hoverboard:

Also,  I made this cake thanks to the techniques I learned on a course given by Avalon Yarnes over at CakeMade.  I recommend taking it.  It was awesome and I will use the cake structure I learned in this course for many future cakes.
